Tonight, Tuesday December 23 2014, the Crescent of the Islamic month Rabiu'l-Awwal Hijri 1436 had been seen by a group of Muslimin.اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اَللَّهُمَّ أَهِّلْهُ عَلَيْناَ بِاْلأَمْنِ وَ اْلإِيماَنِ، وَ السَّلاَمَةِ وَ اْلإِسْلاَمِ، وَ التَّوْفِيقِ لِماَ تُحِبُّ رَبَّناَ وَ تَرْضَى،رَبُّناَ وَ رَبُّكَ اللهُ
"Allah is the Most Great!.. O Allah, bring us the Hilal (crescent moon) with security and Iman (faith) with peace and in Islam and in harmony with what our Lord loves and what pleases Him. Our Lord and your Lord is Allah!.." (Tirmidhi; Darimi)
Therefore the first day of the Islamic month, Rabiu'l-Awwal 1436H will be tomorrow (i.e., Wednesday December 24 2014) inshallah.
