Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,

Although we observed the Hilal (Crescent) of the Hijri month Rabi'ul Akhir, we were not able to see it, therefore we complete the Hijri month of Rabi'ul Awwal to thirty days as it was prescribed in the Shari'ah (Islamic law). According to this January 1st 2017 will be the first day of Rabi'ul Awwal 1438H Inshallah.
