Quote from: Question
As salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

My name is Abdullah. I follow your website from Europe, from Austria. I am 30 years old.

You declare Takfir upon Umar al-Kuwayti. Why do you declare Takfir upon Umar al-Kuwayti? What is his Major Kufr?

Wa Salam

Abdullah

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,

Abu Umar al-Kuwayti was with Abu Ali al-Misri in the beginning when “the Jund’ul Khilafah” movement came out. It was claimed that he was a Muhaddith (Hadith scholar). He was a member of
the Jama’at’ul Muslimin of Abu Isa. We have been hearing about Abu Isa ar-Rifai for more than twenty years. We know that neither he nor his Jama’ah have the sound Aqidah and that neither he nor the members of his Jama’ah are Muslim.

We gave some information concerning his Aqidah and his Jama’ah some time ago. Because the websites of the Jama’ah were not available at the time, we responded to the question directed to us regarding them and also because we did not want to share personal information or write anything that is sourced on personal information we may not able to prove; we merely referred to a book they published. Therefore, the information we provided regarding Abu Isa and his Jama’ah consists of passages of quotations from one book they published namely
“The World Without Shahadah”. You may refer back to the related question and its answer by following the hyperlink.

As we pointed out, Abu Umar al-Kuwayti allied with Abu Ali al-Misri in the beginning. Even though Abu Ali al-Misri had many Kufr he still may have less evil than Abu Umar al-Kuwayti. Abu Umar al-Kuwayti who had heaps of Kufr allied with Abu Ali al-Misri while Abu Ali al-Misri had Kufr beliefs. In many (audio and written) documents which belong to followers of Abu Ali, much Kufr is ascribed to Abu Umar al-Kuwayti such as him ruling as Muslim those who state they reject the Taghout, permiting defending oneself in the court of the Taghout etc.

They have similar understandings with ISIS. Even though they claim to declare Takfir upon the Mushrikin, they do not have a proper understanding regarding those who do not declare Takfir upon the Mushrikin, also many other Kufr regarding the matters of Din such as rulings regarding the courts of Taghout. Nevertheless, Abu Umar al-Kuwayti –used to be one of the Shari’ah judges of ISIS- who had activities in Syria on behalf of “the Qurayshi Caliph” Abu Isa was executed by ISIS due to being Takfiri!

Many foolish so-called Muwahhid answered the call of al-Kuwayti who called for a Jama’ah which is known to us as Kafir. Later on, many among the so-called Muwahhid who answered the call of al-Kuwayti turned away from him and called him Kafir! According to those so-called Muwahhid who separated from al-Kuwayti, his Kufr is that he permitted one to defend himself in the court of the Taghout. Whereas the Jama’ah that he belonged to, has no relation with Tawhid let alone permitting one to defend himself in the court of the Taghout.

“Jama’at’ul Muslimin” has almost the exact same Aqidah as “ISIS”. As it is known, al-Kuwayti later allied with ISIS and became one of their Shari’ah judges however due to having enmity towards Tawhid the Taghawit of ISIS, executed such a person as a Takfiri, although he had nothing to do with Tawhid and Takfir! We heard that Abu Umar al-Kuwayti had never declared Takfir upon the ISIS.

All of these are open Kufr in the presence of the Ahl’ut Tawhid. As we stated before, even if we had not known these facts, we still would declare Takfir upon Abu Umar al-Kuwayti due to him being an individual among the inhabitants of Daar’ul Kufr. Regarding people in such state, his Islam should be proven not his Kufr. Since according to the general ruling he is Kafir and those who claim him to be Muslim should prove their claim.

It is no surprise for those who do not consider these matters as Kufr, moreover attains them as an Aqidah not to declare Takfir on Abu Umar al-Kuwayti or any other person who has such belief. What is astonishing is that one who does not declare Takfir upon such Aqidah comes and asks the one who opposes him in his Aqidah regarding the Kufr of a person who is his brother in Din. Wassalaam!

"Verily, the people have entered into the religion of Allah in crowds and they will also leave it in crowds." (Ahmad, Musnad)
