Tonight, on the 29th of Safar (17/10/2020), the Hilâl (crescent) of the month of Rabî'ul Awwal 1442H was observed however the Hilâl could not be sighted. Thus, the month of Safar will be completed to 30 days as was prescribed in the Sunnah.
Therefore, the 1st of the month of Rabî'ul Awwal 1442H, will fall on 19/10/2020. Wallâhu A'lam!
