Bismillah,
Although it was observed, on the night of Sunday November 23 2014, by the Muslimin, the Crescent of the month of Safar Hijri 1436, could not be sighted, due to being cloudiness in the countries that the Muslimin reside. Because of this, the month of Muharram Hijri 1436 will be completed to 30 days inshaallah.
Therefore, the first day of the month Safar Hijri 1436 will be Tuesday November 25 2014 wallahu a'lim.
