The Hilal (crescent) of Hijri 1436 Jumada al-Awwal has been observed and sighted around the world by the Muslimin during the night of February 19th 2015.اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اَللَّهُمَّ أَهِّلْهُ عَلَيْناَ بِاْلأَمْنِ وَ اْلإِيماَنِ، وَ السَّلاَمَةِ وَ اْلإِسْلاَمِ، وَ التَّوْفِيقِ لِماَ تُحِبُّ رَبَّناَ وَ تَرْضَى،رَبُّناَ وَ رَبُّكَ اللهُ
"Allah is the Most Great!.. O Allah, bring us the Hilal (crescent moon) with security and Iman (faith) with peace and in Islam and in harmony with what our Lord loves and what pleases Him. Our Lord and your Lord is Allah!.." (Tirmidhi; Darimi)
For this reason the first day of Hijri 1436 Jumada al-Awwal will be February 20th 2015 inshaallah.
